The Horsepasture River Falls are in the Nantahala National Forest.
The first falls east of NC Hwy 281 on the Horsepasture river is Drift Falls, also known as Driftwood Falls and locally as Bust Your Butt Falls. The second is Turtleback Falls, AKA Umbrella Falls. The third is Rainbow Falls.
